I have just one point....Stafford.
I know this may be heresy...but Stafford is my favorite Rams QB....ever. I'm a sucker for all his physical traits and remarkable arm...but his composure in the pocket and always looking downfield is something special that I have not seen since Warner...cept Warner has nowhere near the arm strength. I also just want folks to watch how fast the ball gets there and why throwing hard is a good thing....it allows the WR to transition to ball carrier faster and saves the WR from getting his card punched sometimes across the middle.
Stafford's throws will sneak up on our WRs like lightening....so they had better be ever-ready!!! Hell, I know there will be some jammed fingers on our WR squad this year.
btw - On defense they ran all over us...but they only ended up with 14pts. It was so odd.
It looks like our defensive philosophy is to make them have 14 play drives... until our offense gets up on teams and force them to start throwing.
It's a very interesting concept that might actually work more times than not this year due to having Stafford at QB.
I have not been this excited about watching our QB play....ever. It's gonna be a helluva year as long as Stafford is injured.
