I'm probably this board's biggest homer for Kupp but acknowledging that Kupp's hands are elite is no dismissal of Tutu, or any other returner.
I am a big Kupp homer too James. That is as a WR! Not a PR. The last memories I have of him as our PR weren't very good. His forte is as a WR...NOT a PR.
I know just how good his hands are BUT didn't he make some bad choices when being PR returning some when he should have fair caught and even dropping one too? Can't remember when it was but I am pretty sure it happened.
How is it possible the ONLY PR we have that we can trust in that situation is Kupp? If true...Whoever is responsible for selecting our PR obviously made a mistake. You mean to tell me that we have NOBODY else that we can trust in that situation? It wasn't a playoff game or a must win game. It was game 1 of the regular season!
If we can't trust Tutu or anyone else on the team for that matter to catch that punt then we might have an issue at PR.
Having Kupp there just isn't smart IMO. It would be a SHAME to loose Kupp due to some freak accident on a punt! The risk outweighs the rewards!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
