I think he was so into these specialty kicks he got off track on the obvious, fundamental things....straight out he had some piss poor 10-20 yard punts that no one had ever seen him do....those punts were not because of fear of out kicking his coverage....IMO the ST coach we had was way out of place, he came into a team with proven pro at 1 position and went all over the map choosing every kicker they (he) picked. So it may do well to have our new ST coach to get him back to basics...kick the shiy out of the ball more time then not...no fancy pants this or that...stop thinking what type kick we need to do..
No I can't go that way, no matter how much I like Johnny....he was very disappointing last season and pray it was an anomaly because we just let go a 24 year old who was showing his equal. When Johnny gets to be the ripe age of 36 Corey is not going to be 30 yet.......Injuries aside since you can't really put them into the equation.....age over beauty or is it the other way around?
Either way it went somebody was going to grab up a very good, if not top 3-5 punter.....and it looks like it's going to be a young one to boot.
