That is much better, a 2023 4th = a 2022 5th

August 25, 2021 02:52PM
The Rams have 5 6th round picks in 2022. Giving up one is easy to do.

The Rams had a full set of picks in 2023. That is an easier draft to give up a middle round pick.

2022 after acquiring Michel from the Patriots.
1st round (0): Traded to Lions for Matthew Stafford
2nd round (1): Own pick
3rd round (2): Own pick + compensatory pick (Brad Holmes hiring)
4th round (0): Traded to Texans in Brandin Cooks deal + a compensatory
5th round (1): Own pick
6th round (1): Own pick + 3 compensatory
7th round (2): Own pick + pick acquired in Aqib Talib trade
Compensatory picks haven’t been handed out yet, but the Rams are projected to receive a fourth-rounder, as well as four sixth-rounders for their free-agent losses, according to Over The Cap.

2023 NFL Draft
Round 1 – The Rams hold their first-round pick.
Round 2– The Rams hold their second-round pick.
Round 3 – The Rams hold their third-round pick.
Round 4 – Traded to Patriots for a Sony
Round 5 – The Rams hold their fifth-round pick.
Round 6 -The Rams hold their sixth-round pick.
Round 7 – The Rams hold their seventh-round pick.
