I caught the Charger/San Fran game on Sunday. The whiners started Garapolo and I think he played the first 2-3 offensive series followed by Lance. Gonna assume that most of their 1st string oline was playing with Jimmy G out there at least. Also saw both Deebo and Aiyuk out there as well (didn't see Kittle). I paid less attention to their defense, so I'm not sure how many of those starters were out there.
Put it to you this way...a healthy 49'er team is gonna be a handful for us regardless of when we play them. I just wouldn't want to see them Week 1 with QB (though talented) who hadn't run the offense against a defense that wasn't allowed to hit him.
