Yeah...you can count me as someone who is a little surprised that Stafford didn't/won't play at all during pre-season. Though I agree that, coming off of his 2016 performance, Goff needed all the preseason reps he could get. But there's no question that he carried that positive experience over into the 2017 regular season. Have to assume that McVay believes that we can muddle our way through the first two weeks before we host the Bucs. But both the Bears and Colts have very good defenses.
Would've liked to have seen our starting offense operate in an uncontrolled setting for a series or two is all.
Have to wonder if anything would've changed if we opened against SF or Seattle.
