They have to work a lot harder to get open and the window closes a lot faster and balls have to be placed just right to get completions. His catch radius is reduced significantly because of his size and inability to go up and contest catches. He didn't say that it's harder for them to get open. He said smaller receivers have to use their special traits (speed/quickness) to get open. Bigger WR's can use their size/catch radius as a way to be open in a smaller window. If Tutu is running good routes, he'll be getting open. Plus there will be opportunites for him to run right by people, that none of the other WR's the Rams have can do, except for Jackson.
Windows close based on the defenders reactions, not the size of the receiver. Bigger WR's can operate with smaller windows, but they also don't have the ability to run away from defenders like Tutu has.
Safford won't be able to see him because the defenders will overshadow him? Come on. Stafford will see him. He's small, not invisible.
You've hated the pick since draft day and you take every chance you get to remind everyone of that fact. You take an article like this and spin it in the worst possible way for Tutu.
