Tankathon is a good site for tracking draft capital and this year they have already woven in projected compensatory picks. Granted, 6 of the Rams 11 projected picks are in the final 52 selections of the Draft. But right now they are tied with the Lions, Jets and Chargers as having the most total picks in the 2022 Draft with 11.

Snead and McVay have been on this course with quantity over quality for a few years now.

We all know it's very difficult to keep hitting on later round draft picks, but I appreciate their foresight and the way they invest in future drafts having more darts to throw at the board.

They gamble by trading away their 1st rounders for proven players and then give them big contracts.

It's been working for a few years now and I'm on board with their roster building model until it fails.
