That O-Line was being swamped all nite.....maybe it's good to get those lessons in IF they learned from it. I was not impressed with those 2nd/3rd string linemen very much. I know they were getting slapped with all the pressures, but the center was constantly snapping high in the shotgun....Both QB's were having to "snatch" that ball over their heads. Very little to no run holes, when one came up a couple good quick hits, but very few .
TuTu got whacked but jumped right up afterword. I wanted to see fast play and they played fast. I wanted to see swarming to the ball and the D did that. Skow getting banged up was the only real negative. I don't understand all those delays on kicking team....never seen that so much before.
MacGinnis has no power in his leg short KO last year, same this year. That punter has a leg....wonder who's going to get him....Really as much as Hekker offers with his fake play ability I think this guy has the better leg right now. Got some serious speed on PR if we can stay clean in the blocking.
I feel sure they are going outside soon to get a RB. Overall thought for a 1st outing it wasn't bad, things to work on but that's not a bad thing....JH has game, great play by him picking up the 1st down with guys all over him....lucky for us Koski was trailing him on the fumble, kept a nice play from going south.
