Re: not surprised if they are gun shy

True and football is an injurious sport. Who can predict that all these guys stay healthy for 17 games of regular season and three playoff games? The other thing is why would Brewer be ahead of Ancrum? Ank was a star RT for the champs. And our team likes him. Another factor is whether our guys are going to be better than future picks and FAs? Signing Whit was a big surprise and he's been outstanding. So, yes, the Boom might indeed take over fir Whit next year, or Whit might come back again. Or another All Pro LT might want to sign with us. Have is a very good RT and if his salary doesn't make sense and both sides want to extend him they can restructure his desk to pull down his cap number. Lots of moving variables to consider. We also don't know about the other medical health of these players moving forward. Could they get COVID? Could they get arrested? You never know. When you pay millions for a player you should have a pretty strong idea of exactly what you're paying for. I think Snead and McVay know what they're doing. It's nice to have confidence in their decisions. So rest easy.
