doesn't bother me at all

Football fans are ok with college RBs and DBs wearing #4 or whatever on Saturdays but not on Sundays. I don't really get it. When I was a kid centers were "supposed" to wear a number in the 50s. When some centers started wearing 68, 63, 70, etc. it didn't seem to matter. I don't think this does, either. Some people in the early '50s probably disliked Otto Graham going from #60 to #14, too.
