Evans would have to be catastrophic for this move to only be about him.

I'd rather have a subpar guard than a subpar center. And Mcvay speak about Allen as if he were just another guy. He made it his business to single him out as someone who's been flourishing. Why would he make himself look like a fool by doing that if he didn't actually believe that and Allen could get the job done?
IDK. I guess we'll see.
