August 10 camp tidbits… Ernest Jones is a wildcard

Ernest was another Rams pick that many thought was a reach based on his NFL media draft rankings.

Jones was labeled as being on the slow side (not a sideline to sideline player) and pass coverage had red flags by more than a few draft pundits.

He seems to be quite instinctive in pass coverage during his rookie season in training camp.

Ernest Jones has become one of the biggest rookies to keep an eye on in preseason next to Jacob Harris.

Like many fans on this board, I'm going to watch Jones every snap he gets in preseason.
