but will hope for the best since the staff know what they want in a player and what they are trying to do schematically. That being said, I have a little way of looking at the draft position of players that boom or bust. During a draft, when we pick a player high and he washes out...but a player that we picked at a lower position pans out and excels...maybe even starts or play many meaningful snaps....I just swap their draft spots in my mind - since all that maters is getting good talent it doesn't matter where as much as I always think. imo
so, if we blow TuTu's pick but hit with a LB Jones or TE Harris, etc...I just make those other guys our 2nd round pick and don't sweat it. It's a silly way of thinking but it alleviates the anxiety of what is the art of drafting. No sure bets at any round!!! Just get yourself some good players and your gonna do okay. I woulda definitely picked a OC with the #57 spot though and kept Corbett at LG. no matter...we'll see how it works out.
