His original base salary was $15.5 mil, but a re-structure 3 years ago boosted his 2021 pay to $18 mil. At least according to Spotrac. Unless his former base salary was $13 mil and the restructure brings it up to $15.5 mil.

Either way, that's a trade killer for a 1 sack OLB. And why the Cards would even keep him and not just cut him to save a lot of money, I don't get.
