Because the reality is that we don't need him to be better than Cam. We just need him to be productive. I thought Cam was going to be a legitimate 1200 yard rushing / 600 yard receiving back. I don't think Henderson needs to be that. I think Henderson can be a 900 yard rushing and 400 yard receiving back and that would still make us a top five offense. The reality is that Henderson should be the fourth most important cog in terms of our skill positions on offense. Stafford and both of our top two receivers are more important to this offense than The run game. Now I know the run game factors a lot into what McVay likes to do but I think that good run blocking and a good consistent pass game is going to open up the run just fine.
