When he was the second back on the roster for about eight weeks of the year until the starter got hurt. And that starter is literally still on the team, then your panic might be slightly overblown. Henderson has always looked good when healthy. And running back is not a position that is hard to get production out of.

The Akers injury sucks But he's not Stafford, Donald, or Ramsey. He might not even be Kupp or Woods in terms of level of importance in the offense. And the Rams are so stacked that wide receiver that the running game should have plenty of room to get going.

Akers is really good. Yeah he started slow in a season where there was no training camp--which would have an effect on a rookie. Hopefully he gets back to his old self again and will demonstrate how good he is next year.

Ask Stafford how easy it is to get production out of the running game. He virually never had a run game in Detroit.

Akers going down is EXACTLY why the Rams need to build a STUD O line.
