I think all that comes down to Ramsey

He is as good as he wants to be. If he keeps himself sharp and on top of his game (CB's who lose focus drop fast in this league) for the next five or six years it will be a windfall in the Rams' favor. I agree we won that trade, based on the "right now" way things look. But he's gotta earn that big contract now. I have every reason to believe he will but for myself I'm not really looking to make sweeping announcements on it simply because it looks good in the early going.

I'll add too that thus far his maturity level has been impressive. Which when the trade was made was a big part of the equation to my eye at least. He's always been an elite talent and player. Question for me was whether he could transition into a star on and off the field and he seems to be making that transition now. So yeah very happy with the trade and hoping ten years from now it's a hallmark move that led to championships and a Hall of Fame jacket for him.
