Ram Fan Teacher
Demoff didn't say it directly when discussing the gradient but did anyone get the feeling that the he will go back to solid numbers in 4 years? I think he knows it didn't work the way he wanted it with the yellow and white gradient representing both of the old jerseys (yellow/blue and white/blue).
I think he knows it didn't work out the way he wanted too. All the guy had to do was listen to the fans. IMO, he was the ONLY one (maybe Kroenke too) who wanted a full rebrand.
The problem with a FULL rebrand on a team that has such a storied history is...you better knock it out of the park! He did not do that.
Just look around at the reactions this new jersey is getting not only from Ram fans but many others. It's mostly positive and well liked. Not even close to the amount of negativity the other jersey's got.
The criticism's I am seeing about this uni are all the same things. Get rid rid of the "plastic" outlined numbers and sleeve horn and also "un-neuter" the horn and remove the break. Even with those criticism's, most people still like the jersey better than the Bone or Blue we have now.
A "modern throwback" is all most of us wanted and would have been over the moon about. If they "fix" the common issues that are bothering people, this rebrand just might be a success!
Gooo Rams!!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
