No one can predict a certain Superbowl win; but Stafford will light it up

July 12, 2021 10:51AM
Look. Stafford lit it up on a bad team for year after year. Even the players on those teams marveled how he could do it, knowing the circumstances.

Now he goes to a team with a serious offense, a terrific play caller, and established talent everywhere. Not to mention last year's #1 D. They may not be the 2021 #1 D, but they'll probably be top 5. All of this is something Stafford could only have ever dreamed about.

And as Jourdan has said on more than one occasion, now the handcuffs come off the offense. Stafford can run every play in the book. McVay is giddy over it. And you can bet he'll use Stafford to his fullest. What is likely to happen isn't so much that Stafford is going to put up bigger numbers than he has in past years; it's just that they will translate to more Wins.
