WOLB. So much competition, but can anyone really step up and remain healthy? I wouldn’t rule out a possible FA still being brought in, tbh. I predict that Morris will tinker here like crazy trying to find his guy for ‘21. The tinkering might continue well into the season, frankly.
ILB. Another knockdown, drag out competition. Nobody’s name is written in ink inside just yet. Nobody.
WR. Admittedly, it’s for the 3rd WR position, but just how will this shake out for Jefferson, DJ, and Atwell? Is Harris conceivably an occasional wildcard here for some snaps? Or will it be game-to-game decisions by McVay based upon that week’s opponent’s weaknesses?
Obviously, there will be many other battles to establish pecking orders at almost every position as is the case on every team every summer.
I just mention the above because those 5 battles appear to be possibly capable of going in so many directions. None seem cut and dried to me. This will be one helluva summer for Ram players and coaches.
