Golden Tate says it would be ‘fantastic’ to join Matthew Stafford with Rams
The free agent receiver played four and a half seasons with Stafford in Detroit

I think we could have predicted this answer.
Free agent wide receiver Golden Tate appeared on Sirius XM NFL radio this week and spoke about some of the teams he would be interested to join, if given the chance. Tate mentioned the Titans and Colts, but then said it was “obvious” that he would like to play with Matthew Stafford and the LA Rams.
Tate and Stafford played together for 4.5 seasons with the Detroit Lions, with Tate averaging 93 catches, 1,056 yards, and five touchdowns per year over the first four of those campaigns.
"I would love to go back home to Tennessee. Indy, over with Carson Wentz. Obviously, the LA Rams would be fantastic with Stafford"

There are still some considerable objects between a Stafford and Tate reunion.
Even if Tate were to take the veteran minimum, the Rams may not be interested in adding a wide receiver who will turn 33 in August. Especially knowing that they’ve already added DeSean Jackson. The addition of Jackson also means that there are not any apparent opportunities for another receiver to be added into the fold.
LA currently has Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Jackson, second round pick Tutu Atwell, 2020 second round pick Van Jefferson, Trishton Jackson, seventh round pick Ben Skowronek, Nsimba Webster, and potentially fourth round tight end/receiver Jacob Harris. There seems no reason to call Tate unless there’s an injury, release, or trade that comes first.
Tate spent the last two seasons with the New York Giants and he caught 35 passes for 388 yards and two touchdowns over 12 games in 2020.
