NFL defenses require tactical proficiency and emotional drive. Last year's defense was a result of internal player leadership (Donald, Ramsey, JJ) and a unique strategy developed by both Staley and McVay.
Morris' style reminds me of Saleh who was very effective as a coordinator for the 9'ers. I think his approach is genuine and natural and fits McVay's to a tee. I believe the players will enjoy working for him and he's humble enough to bring the best out of the position coaches. I'm not sure what happened to cause this hating on him but I'm open to listening to the opposing view. As for now, I simply disagree.
