Thanks for posting. True, these 7 guys could break out. But, they could all fail too. Several have had injury problems so sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't. Burgess might be a huge factor or maybe Rapp starts over him at safety and Long starts over him in the slot. So, he would be a dime defender and ST guy. Maybe Long gets beat out by one of our other young corners. Where did Williams come from? Hendu will not be a break out player because we k is he is already a solid player and will rotate in a lot at HB. The good thing in the big picture is that we have a lot of options at almost every position. If a mid rounder from a couple seasons ago is ready to start great. If not, maybe a mid rounder from last season can beat this guy out. Also, great. If not, a youngster who we just drafted or signed as an UFA could emerge. Fabulous. This team is built around a few stars and has athletic role players around them. On O we have Stafford, our tackles, Woods, Kupp and Higbee. Akers and Hendu are emerging and The other receivers will be mixed in. On D, it's AD, Ramsey and Floyd. Everyone else is either emerging or hopefully about to. I love the way our roster is structured. Having superstars in key roles and good to fair depth around them makes sense.
