I never understood why nobody else followed the Dolphins lead in 1985, vs the Bears.

The 46 D was NOT unbeatable. The Bears left all sorts of spots open on the field. Marino, in the MNF game, often threw to spots. Just look at the next season.... Steve Dills of all people, threw a long strike to Ron Brown. He simply took 2-3 steps and slung it. With the Bears bringing the world, there was plenty of open space. Check of the box scores with.....THE BUCS?????? They too gave the Bears a good run during BOTH Division games in 85. They too were slinging it .
