That part has me excited too.

When I was going to college at U of California at San Diego in La Jolla, they played 8 man High School football at La Jolla Country Day School which was a few blocks from where I lived. There was a RB there that was just destroying everyone - some games even called early because they were blowouts. I used to go watch them play simply because of how electric the kid was.

The kid was obviously above the competition. His name was Rashaan Salaam - he won the Heisman a few years later and was drafted by the Bears in the first round. Unfortunately he took his own life a few years back but he was a great example of what you were talking about - an elite player at a lower level of competition (see also another San Diego example . . . .RB Faulk, SDSU.)

Hopefully Garrett proves that adage as well and makes his mark in the NFL.
