Anyone saying that Brockers was anything but good is underselling or under appreciating. There is playing a role and then there is taking that role to a level where the next guy is good too. AD helps everyone but there is a chain reaction and if the chain stops at the guy next to you so does the net positivity of AD.
AD takes way more than his share, Brockers did more than his required role. The Turkey will be missing some of the gravy this year.
and what he will be
it is good to churn the roster...replace aging guys with younger ones.
So, what we was for nine years is not what he will be (on average) for the next 2-3 years--so letting him go is fine
but people think the way to judge DLmen is pretty sack numbers...and MB didn't have those, therefore average fans didn't think too highly of him. But smart fans knew he was good.
