Jared has been one of the better
"wow throwers" during
OTA's, training camp and
Joint practices prior to the regular season for a few years now.
During these controlled settings, he's whipped the ball around in tight windows, back shoulder throws and landed the ball in the bread basket with touch.
He's also done it during the regular season but not for a full season.
For myself, his best combined full season body of work was in 2017.
Regardless of stats, I believe his best season was 2017 not 2018.
Even though the 2018 Rams advanced to the SB and it was his best statistical season, the SB dream never happens if the refs didn't ignore a blatant pass interference call that would've sealed the game late in the 4th quarter for the Saints.
I don't doubt that Dan Campbell is accurately reporting what he's seen in early June.
The issue for many of us is Goff has never been consistent throughout an entire regular season except for 2017. (just my opinion)
We've all read about and seen clips of his camp hype and joint practices over the years.
I'm not a basher and wouldn't be surprised if he has a good season for the Lions.
I'm just saying.....
