You're not gonna solve anything, or even get a good look at guys for that matter, without the pads and contact. He is getting mentally drilled right now with different looks by the defensive front right now. And it's a good thing to do that. But whether he can balance that mental side and also play well remains to be seen and that's what will determine whether he sticks there.
I will say that looks like a really strong and physical front right now. Big boys across the board and I have to think it means great things for Akers.
