Well you make a fair point, but still.
Personally I think McVay has a bit too much of a testosterone poisoning streak in him. He gets impatient, stubborn, and does things on the spur of the moment out of that impatience. I think he could afford to tone that down. He's not a Ditka, who was a lifelong tough guy, with all the good and bad that comes with that, but it was part of who he was from childhood on up. McV is not from that kind of background and so it does not suit him the same way. In McV's case, I think all that comes from a bit of immaturity. So I personally believe that kind of thing will tone down after a bit.
