This calculation by Spotrac is based on individual player annual (average salary) from their current 2021 contracts.
It is really interesting how the Rams have allocated their spending on specific players and position groups.
You can clearly see where the Rams have invested their money by star players and position groups.
Look at how each position group is paid and which ones are of a much lower tier.
This tells us a lot of how the Rams currently rank their position groups and where they think the salary cap allocation is priority.
At least it does for the 2021 season anyway. It could change a bit prior to the season and look a lot different heading into the 2022 season.
