Brown hails from Arlington, TX and was all-state in high school. He started his freshman year at Texas A&M, played in all 35 games and was 1st team all SEC his sophomore and junior seasons, at the end of which he immediately declared for the draft.
He wrote a letter to the Aggies thanking them for giving him the opportunity to play for them. He said he didn't want to leave school but his mom had been hospitalized with a serious brain condition and they needed the money in order to give her a fighting chance. Obviously a solid family man.
This man could be a major steal. Some believe if he had stayed for his Sr. year he could have gone in the 1st round in 2022. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow with the team.
