Some think offensive line is a major weakness but they don't. So they weren't going to do what all of us wanted or expected them to do. They were going to do what they thought was the right thing to do. If the Rams thought that the offensive line was a weakness then they definitely would have prioritized drafting linemen. Instead they traded down when they could have had my three favorite offensive linemen (Creed Humphrey, Kendrick Green, Quinn Meinerz).
We have to look at this objectively and logically. The Rams have shown before that they will spend on the offensive line when they need to. They brought in Whitworth and Sullivan in the same year and drafted noteboom and Brian Allen to develop behind an already good offensive line. Then they drafted Evans and Edwards to further develop when the line was already good. Then they traded for Corbett. Then they drafted anchrum. So it's not like they don't understand the importance of offensive line. They've been throwing darts at it for a few years now. The only logical reason for why they would not keep throwing darts is because they feel like their depth is genuinely serviceable.
