In fact, IMO, any team with even an average qb will do well with protection. These guys are in the NFL after all. Take away protection and any qb-possible exception of Brad-will not perform well. Skill players are fun to watch but O linemen are worth their weight in gold. If Matt doesn't have protection I don't think he will do much better than Goff.
