It's supposed to be a 'sport' with values like sportsmanship, teamwork, sacrifice. The NHL is very physical and they don't deal with a fraction of this taunting crap. Even in the UFC you see a lot of respect between fighters. A guy will beat his opponent senseless, take a victory lap around the octagon and then check to make sure the guy is ok.
The NFL taunting crap is all about screen time and 'look at me' and other BS.
