Because there will be a helluva player at a position that Rams covet sitting there at 57 no matter what, that’s why. It is mathematically guaranteed.

Frankly, I’m expecting Snead/McVay to make a modest trade down from 57 to take advantage of this draft’s depth through round 4. That’s the smart value play.

So, we should be prepared to watch one top quality player after another at positions Rams want get picked and taken off the Rams board until our turn finally comes. It’s inevitable and it happens every year. But not to worry because I’m certain that Snead/McVay will come out of Day 2 with 3, maybe 4 outstanding football players that are good Ram fits.
