Is that the reason the Rams would go ILB is to add some sideline boost from the second level for our contain. So addressing the position with a guy who will struggle to get to the sideline and provide that defeats the purpose.
If you just want a guy who can fill between the tackles we have two mediocre options in house. Kiper is just being lazy here IMO and not fully analyzing what he's throwing out there.
