Re: Can the Rams trust OC Brian Allen enough to start in 2021?

The biggest positives about Allen in my thoughts that he is a technically sound gritty guy and has NFL DNA having brother his Senior that also played in the league.

The questions for him are now durability and if he has the adequate physical size and strength to a bonified starter at this level.
I've always worried if was able to be more than a college All American type who basically hit his plateau in E.Lansing.

He probably has the drive to impress coaches...
But what happens out there when the rubber meets the road in the trenches is what's going to matter.
Both Guards need to be really good at helping him out if he's our guy.
I can't see him doing well against a size DT-NT like a Poe , D.Shelton in game or even our own Ashauwn in practice in a one on one deal.
Really a scary thought for more than just his sake.

"Tipped their hand" to need an OC? Hardly.
