The point about not needing to use 1st round draft picks on OL is very valid. But it's a pretty big stretch to claim Noteboom and Edwards are their long-term OTs. I like Edwards. Maybe he moves to tackle eventually, maybe not. And Noteboom is an alright 3rd OT. And it's an even BIGGER stretch to claim Allen and Shelton are obvious upgrades over Blythe. Blythe is
replaceable. But he was never some sort of liability. And Allen and Shelton...well.....
I do agree about ILB and while they might end up selecting one even as high as 57 they have enough there now to be just fine. And yeah, by comparison adding more at Edge and CB would likely be much more impactful for the defense. Even IF Long can step up they need a 4th CB and there is no guarantee they can retain Williams in 2022.
