Great question, been thinking about that myself since they drafted him a year ago and was hoping they at least were having him work on center. I coached high school ball for a dozen years and worked with the OL quite a bit and will say that not all guards can play center. You hit the nail on the head, with needing good smarts, quickness, knee bend, good quick hip drop and ability to anchor. He definitely looks like he may fit the bill, I wonder how much he has been working on it. To me, Corbett definitely does not look like a center. He is a little stiff, not great knee bend, and not real quick hip drop - I think right guard is the best spot for him, he really gets great push in the run game at times, he just needs to keep improving especially in the pass game against well planned blitz schemes. I really like his upside there, and Anchrum seems like he might have all the tools for a great center!
