I haven't looked at the cap recently to check but what about using Whit's 2022 money on the LT position? This is assuming Whit retires.

Maybe in this scenario they could sign someone.

Yeah, I was assuming that the expensive FA for LOT would be a ‘22 move against a higher Whit-free cap number.
