I thought Whitworth was definitely better in 2020 than 2019. One more quality season from him would be huge. I like Noteboom OK as the backup/3rd OT but agree he's not the long-term guy.
I doubt it but wouldn't totally dismiss the idea of a LT even as high as #57 should someone of good value slip to them. Or maybe one of the 3rd rounders. But once Whitworth retires in 2022 they can go a lot of ways to backfilling it. They'll have more draft capital (up to 11 draft picks including the comp. picks) and cap room so maybe a trade. Sign a veteran released elsewhere. Move up from their 2nd round pick for someone. Etc.
