The Rams were predicted to be Super Bowl contenders going into the 1970 season. It was exciting to watch the dominant victories over the Bills (19-0) and Chargers (37-10) early that season. Later that season, they had one of their ugliest losses to an AFC team. That loss to the Jets ultimately kept them out of the playoffs. Someone mentioned a Steelers game in 1977. The Rams didn't play the Steelers in 1977, but they did have a memorable win over them in 1975.
