We have a guy unheard of who gets pressure from an abnormal spot. Our main guy is a DT, not the average DE or edge rush type.
IMO that means we may look for other things across the D then other teams do. So the question of depth may be more in the vain of what guys do best . Example.....Brockers, a lot of guy complained he didn't get sacks, looking at him as being a DE type guy. He was very good but it was at run stuffing, he had a particular job. IMO when you have a freak like AD a team may look at getting particular things out of other positions where other teams may need 2-3 guys just to get the plays that AD gets by himself. IMO if you are looking at depth behind a guy like AD you're wasting your time, there is no depth to replace him.
He is an aboration he alone allows an entire team to invest in other areas. He is a true one and only type player who when out is easy to see gone. You can easily see he's not out there. For that reason IMO you have to look at other areas of the team to help you win certain type games, not look for an increase in defensive play when the freak is out. You need to get a super effort from Specials, and Offense in particular in those type games.
