Gotta disagree, if that is happening then the O MUST step up and match points. Again the main gist of my post was that even the best defense can be down in games, they can't be top notch week to week. The offense did nothing to help keep the TEAM stay afloat. Way too many 3 and outs, way too many times going out there and not taking time off the clock, way too many. 18 points isn't going to do it many times in the playoffs, 18 points isn't going to offset an offense like the pack had.
It looks like you are putting that game solely on the D and the D not being able to offset the loss of AD. Let me ask you this put AD on other teams, who would step into his spot like he was still out there? AD can't be replaced that's what makes him who he is, he's considered the best D player in the league and maybe of all time. Losing him in a game like that is huge, that's why it was absolutely necessary for the O to step up like never before and they flopped out.
Yes the D faltered but any team would have issues with the best D player in the league not out there with them. The O on the other hand pretty much had all hands on deck and flunked out, very anemic, for the most part on life support from the outset.
