Actually I think Trask was even slower than 5.0. But that's not the point or his game (nor was it Warner's). He is a pure drop back passer and a very good one with good size.
There are some guys whose skills translate better to the NFL and I think he's one of them. Frankly, of the doubts I have about others of the top QBs coming out, I wouldn't bet the farm on Lawrence. He played on a dominant team, with a great Oline, a great RB, and terrific WRs. He's another one who's highlight reels substantially feature his spectacular runs. For me, that's a bad sign for an NFL hopeful unless your name is Lamar Jackson. But what you can bet the farm on is that the Jags will snag Lawrence 1st overall.
