As far as I know the Rams haven't signed Williams to a contract - they only placed a 1-year tender on him. (Which gives the Rams the right of first refusal and also brings the Rams a first round pick in the 2021 draft if they decide not to match.)
I am hopeful that the Rams eventually do sign Williams. And I am also hopeful that when Williams signs it's for at least 4 years.
