They are only press conferences but after watching both, I felt Stafford has the so called "it" factor that you look for from a starting NFL QB.
I've always been a big Goff fan and I won't be surprised one bit if he performs well in Detroit.
I never really followed Stafford much other then when the Rams played against him and his NFL Sunday night highlights.
Like a lot of fans and the NFL media, I thought Stafford was underrated but never thought he was some super special NFL QB.
After watching his career tape, I think differently about Stafford now.
Making guaranteed predictions of how he's going to perform under McVay is a bit silly. On paper it seems like a perfect match.
If I was McVay, I would've made the trade for Stafford without blinking.
I'm glad McVay put all of his chips on table for Stafford. In a sense he gambled his coaching pedigree on being right.
IMO, McVay is becoming more like Bill Walsh and Bill Belichick and willing to move on from their star players to better the team even if it's not the popular choice of the fans and media.
