Who are you going to get to replace Havs, and play at the same level (whether you think it's good enough or not) for $6M? Is there a $6M per year RT out there that would improve the OL? There would have to be because I don't think there's a better RT on the team than Havs, right now.
I don't have a man-crush on Havs but other than 1 year, he's just been solid and sometimes solid needs to be good enough. Can't have stars at every position, that's for sure.
I think that there are 3 more than adequate immediate replacements for Hav already on the roster, PSJ. This has been discussed in other threads, if you’re interested.

Maybe Brewer would be a 4th candidate.
None might be quite the run blocker that Hav is, but all would likely be better than Hav at pass blocking. And the Rams utilize more pass than run snaps.
A positive ripple effect would be to free up TE’s more from helping Hav and allow them to be more targets for Stafford. An addition by subtraction kinda thing.
A Hav trade is VERY doable anytime Snead wants.
