I can't imagine that they are thinking about Flacco as a starter. Has to be about being a back up or QB 1b.
Wonder if this has to do with the Watson situation that has gone south at warp speed. It has been rumored that the Niners were one of the teams that had interest in pursuing the possibility of getting the now nuclear too hot to touch QB.
